they still have no idea if they just want to make him a 'grounded' bruce lee guy, a North Star-esque pressure point guy, or full blown 'I can make fire and lightning with my ki' guy. The latter is what the fans of the character want, but SFX would eat up too much budget to hire an established actor for the lead. The former would be cheapest and jive with the tone of the other netflix shows more, but would disapoint the most people and make him too much like daredevil. The middle would be an 'okay-ish' compromise but probably suffer from trying to please everyone but pleasing no one.
