I couldn't get through Spawn, they spent waaaay too many episodes with him sulking in an alleyway.
The thing is, some shows, no matter how good they were and how prematurely they ended, just wouldn't work if they were brought back. Shows like Motorcity or SBT were relatively timeless and probably could get a continuation.
Moral Orel couldn't be brought back because, while the ending was rushed and tacked on, it was also a very appropriate and moving ending. To bring it back would be to cheapen it, like what happened with Futurama.
There are other shows like Clone High which should not have ended in the first place, but are now irrelevant to modern audiences, and so could never be revived.

I'll concede that point, but near the end (second half of S2 and most of S3) that mostly stops. Which is frustrating because just as he'd finished getting over himself, the show ended.
I actually found that hilarious though, because all the brooding and whatnot is the legitimate biggest problem he has, even more so than any of the physical villains.
It comes across almost like a parody of edgy antiheroes.
Also, the animation was good enough that I could get past any writing choices.

This and Avengers EMH are the only shows I'd revive. Every other show always gets worse after a revival.
These two finally got the Marvel Universe right in animated form. They basically just took the original classic Silver Age stories and presented them in a way non-comics readers and younger folks can appreciate.
I grew up reading reprints of all those 60's Spider-Man and Avengers stories and it always was frustrating to me how others would refuse to read them and call them cheesy and dated.
Then I can't express how excited I was to see people getting really into these shows which lifted material wholesale from those comics, speculating on what would happen next, and eventually lamenting the deaths of the shows.
I just wish the movies had even half the respect for the source material as these cartoons.
