How can one man be so based?

Genetics. All his fathers were based for generations.
>>
>>77587379
one of my favorite gags in the show so far, fucking perfect.
>>
>>77587379
When will they learn?
>>
>>77587482
Except for his grandpa. he did TERRIBLE things.
>>
is this show good

i know literally nothing about it
>>
>>77587379

Not really. He just comes across as an inconsiderate, self-absorbed sociopath incapable of empathy.
>>
>>77587379
I don't watch this show, is that some kind of inside joke or what? Or is him being a meanie what you find so fascinating?
>>
>>77589616
Sooo anybody on the eighties.

Now that's just jealousy talking.

What is this show with a pale skinned Terry McGinnis?
>>
>>77589590

Some episodes were really good. Some episodes were pretty bad, IMHO. I think they're experimenting with different ideas with this 1st season to find what sticks.

It gets compared to Archer. In relation to that, I find all of Moonbeam City's characters a lot more likeable, even the bad guys.

If anything, IMHO Moonbeam City is more like Metalocalypse, but much more light-hearted.

Just my 2 cents. I think the series is quite good but inconsistent, and it's been improving over time as well. Really enjoying this show.
>>
>>77589590
It's not bad.

Episode 1's by far the worst episode, and episode 2's fairly weak as well, but by the third episode it's really hit it's stride.

If you're expecting Archer, don't. Outside of artstyle and basic premise they're nothing alike. Archer is a character driven sitcom that goes into dramedy moments, the world they're in is somewhat believable.

Moonbeam City doesn't take itself seriously one iota, it's just straight satire and occasional absurdist humor.

Either way, I'd recommend giving it a try, it's only 8 episodes in so far. Episodes 3, 5, and 7 have probably been the best so far in my opinion, if you don't feel like just starting at the beginning.

Have you actually even watched the show?
>>
>>77589851
What, /co/ watching a show before they judge it? But anon, if they did that, then they couldn't just blindly hate something and make up nonsense to criticise it over. They'd have to acknowledge the good parts of shows.
>>
>>77589785
>Archer
The character archetypes and rolls are similar, but the humor and pacing is way more Metalocalypse then Archer, just with less human death as a punchline.

No.

It's not only cis-centric but patriarchal.

The storng female boss is literally bent over and fucked by the 'strong white male' lead.
>>
>>77590111
that's just realistic.

Everyone is so handsome in this universe, I want to fuck them all. No homo.

>>
>>77590111
please tell me that didn't happen and it's just some cleverly put together edit
>>

nevermind
it did
I'm less excited for this show
I was thinking about picking it back up after missing 1 episode, but this was the episode it happened in

why does the incompetent male lead always end up fucking or getting something sexual out of the strong competent female side characters
I was actually rooting for this NOT to happen

Because it's funny.
Don't like crassness?
Drop comedy as something you enjoy, someone or something's always the victim. Either move on or fuck off.

this is fucking with me

Are the writers trying to show that he's not a pushover by having him snap at a mom and her kid?

I've been debating it. Who's in the right? Two people finding new seats is more difficult, and two people moving would bother more movie-goers. Unless he sat down first, he's just in the wrong. Even then I'd consider finding a new seat to be polite. The mom telling him instead of the kid means her son's probably a shy pussy, I don't want to ruin some pussy kid's movie experience by arguing with his mom over such a small matter.

I realized the mom could just switch seats with her kid. The scene makes sense then, but are they expecting the viewer to catch that immediately? Is the guy hoping to infer the ridiculousness of asking him to find a new seat to her through a backhanded comment? Did the writers decide not have him snap at her lack of seat switching because they realized how ridiculous the whole thing is?

Is the kid in a wheelchair? That'd be hilarious then.

>>
>>77590104
well that makes sense, so many people forget the creator on the show worked on matalocalypse
>>
>>77590279
Dazzle's insane. Not just in a zany lunatic sense, but in a "set of logic, prioritization, and ethics vastly discordant from the norm" kind of way.
>>
>>77590505
he's a sociopath
>>
>>77590205
It wasn't like he just scored the big one, it was a moment of shame for both of them.
>>
>>77590762
You mean multiple moments of shame, hot sweaty orgasmic shame, all throughout the day anywhere they could find a moment to themselves
>>
>>77590279
i could be wrong, but i'm pretty sure it is a cartoon and that everything you just said matters less than black lives.
>>
>>77590514
He's a bit too impulsive and sentimental for that. If anything, he's a psychopath.

He keeps what he confiscates.

This.

What happens at Cop Con....
>>
>>77589590
Not really.

There's some reasonable chuckles, but it's more of a show you'll want to like than one you will like. Will Forte is the best part, but his character constantly spasms between legitimately funny, uninteresting and straight up boring.
>>
>>77589769
This is incredibly wrong, as episode 2 is the best one while episodes 3 and 4 kinda suck.
>>
What show is this?
>>
>>77589723
Shit man I loved all the characters in archer for the first 4 seasons. Haven't checked out this show yet but if it's like metalocalypse I'll give it a chance

He's one of the best cops in town, he's physically fit and easy on the eyes, he can be oddly charming when he wants to be, and they've known each other for years. Plus he helped her kill her evil sister when she tried to make off with the Miller family fortune. It makes sense.
>>
>>77593202
>He's one of the best cops in town
Which frankly, says a lot about the cops in Moonbeam City
>>
>>77590279
Jesus Christ, Dazzle is standing up, everyone else is sitting. She doesn't want him to move, just sit the fuck down. The fact that he could easily do so but is still a dick about it is what's funny. All this shit about moving seats is so far off base, you really missed the point hard
>>
>>77593280
Yeah. That's been a major point in several episodes already. Moonbeam City police sucks and nobody gives a damn about anything. Actually the city is worse off for the police being there.

The department is twenty years old at most in a city that pretty much popped into existence overnight and experienced a population and criminal activity boom so immense that it can have 22,000 people get murdered every 11 seconds and not become a ghost town before the week's end.

Even one of their oldest (surviving) cops looks to be just a few years shy or over 50.

It's brutal and crooked almost out of necessity to the point that Dazzle, someone who proudly states that he keeps what he confiscates from suspects, isn't considered a "corrupt" cop. So the frightening part about him being one of the best is that there are officers who are either more incompetent or outright vile than him roaming the streets of Moonbeam City.

>>77593667
The crooks only did all that community rebuilding because Pizzaz threatened to have their Uncle Carlo executed if they stepped out of line. If she hadn't, they would've rampaged across town like they had during every previous Cop-Con weekend. So while there's merit to their conclusion that police brutality is partially to blame for their criminal behaviour, they blithely ignore the fact that they were perfectly fine with committing felonies without police brutality goading them on before Pizzaz blackmailed them.

Moonbeam City's a horrible place because it was built top-heavy with a poor social infrastructure that couldn't generate jobs after the lasers ran dry.
>>
>>77593667

To be fair, Pizazz orchestrated the city wide peace, albeit for selfish reasons. All it takes is one bad cop with a diarrhea gun to ruin everything.
