Looks like they wanted it to be stop motion and follow the book more, but they knew it wouldn't sell enough so they expanded it with CG. Just pretend the stop motion Petit Prince segments only exist or something, they look fantastic.

it is mediocre. The story is all over the place and the dat feel moments are stretched too long and lose their impact, it could have been way better but it fails in a lot of aspects.

Yes, I don't remember much because I was a little kid at the time but it was very cute. Probably it was not very faithful to the books.mfw the style of the text is the same Fuuta Hoshino uses making it look like the cover of some very hot porn to me (Hoshino is just mimicking old anime style)
