As a fat person currently trying to lose weight, I despise people who look at obesity as a positive thing. There are essentially no benefits to being overweight, just because being anorexic is also unhealthy doesn't make obesity any less healthy. You also need a bit of a negative stigma in order to get motivated to do something about it, the problem is going overboard and just completely destroying someone's self-esteem to the point they just stop caring altogether or even worse, actually starts justifying their behavior with a bunch of bullshit excuses.
