Case Closed was awesome. I was glued to the limited amount of episodes AS aired. A few years back I considered watching it entirely until I realized how long it is.

Venture Bros. used to be my favorite western cartoon, waaaay back when it started airing a decade ago, before the current renaissance of quality cartoons. Since then, it's been off the air more often than not...
I really, really love when ATHF was at its best. Season 2 is solid gold, but every season after had at least a few good episodes. More misses than hits in the end though.
Moral Orel is also pretty fantastic, and not for the reasons everyone thinks, but it is a really smart, unique piece of animation.
But OP mentioned Case Closed, so we're opening up the door to anime, or at least anime made with a distinctly western influence (Detective Conan's creator is a HUGE westaboo, which is partially why that book is a status-quo-is-god long-runner and why all his works share a universe), so I'm gonna go ahead and say Big O. Yeah, The Big O. I know it first aired on Toonami, and I don't care. Adult Swim gave us a second season.

What do you mean by this? I thought it was great how they established over the top characters and then brought them down to earth but still kept their craziness. Clay is probably one of the most interesting characters on any Adult Swim show. Also the animation in the third season was great. I love that scene in the bar with Clay and when Clay walks through the house.

Case Closed is like the Simpsons of Nippon, the anime has taken on a life of its own and it will continue long after the manga ends if it ever does. One Piece is still heavily reliant on the manga aside from a filler arc here and there. You might get a One Piece GT or something once the manga ends but that'll be it
