If the Lion Guard is written well, then the entire series will have an ongoing conflict between Kion and Kiara that mirrors the rivalry between Scar and Mufasa. Kion gives off a scar vibe from some of the clips I've seen. And he allies himself with non-lions, albeit not hyenas. If this show is worth its shit then there will be a very real risk that Kion could end up becoming like Scar and abusing his power for evil. I think nowadays people use "trans" to refer to trangenders, which are different from transvestites. Transvestites just dress like the opposite gender from their sex while still identifying as the gender of their sex. So men, who say they're men and want to be treated like men, but sometimes wear dresses and wigs, and maybe can take them off and be regular guys sometimes. Whereas transgenders are people that identify as the gender opposite to the sex they were born with. So, someone born with a penis that insists you call "her" "she" and uses the ladies' room and is in female mode 24/7. I dunno just when trans started meaning transgender exclusively, though- I think it used to apply to transvestites.
I think Pleakley counts as a transgender though because he (she?) is under an assumed human identity that is female, and I think identifies as that new identity now that they're living on earth.
