Glad the pace actually picked up a little this month. This series always makes me think it would lend itself nicely to a well-animated 1.5-2 hour movie done in the style of the comic.
Hope it reaches its promised 12 issues, and maybe is given some extension beyond that.

Yeah, the pacing in this is a bit of a killer. Things are finally moving along a bit, so I hope it keeps up like this. I imagine that since DCYou promised 12 issues, the author got to pace it deliberately -- which normally, I'd say, is fantastic, but I think the pacing has been just too slow.

It's okay, it's biggest fault is that the pace is slower than molasses going uphill in January. Khalid and his friends and family are likeable enough at least though, and the art's pretty neat.

Doctor Fate is a frustrating read.
I like the character and the supporting cast, the art is fantastic but it's so fucking slow. I just wish someone would light a fire under the writer's ass to pick up the pace a little because it literally has everything to be a truly fantastic book but the pace is the book's biggest flaw.

I met a friend from Syria. Escaped a few years ago. His parents are mad traditional and his little brother's english sucks. But this kid fucks exclusively big tit hispanic girls. American dream bro.
