It all depedns on your outlook. If you define "meaning" by whether or not it has an immediate effect on the current stories being told then yes, they're meaningless. If you consider events in characters' history as building blocks for their characterization now then no they're not meaningless. The T-Bomb going off was one of the major events of Infinity and the T-Bomb going off is the main cause of this whole book's plotline. The Builder War led to the dissolution of SWORD which is what led to Alpha Flight replacing it and the Builders themselves are major components to Starbrand and Nightmask's backstories, and they're still around. The Avengers World brought Hyperion into the Marvel Universe who has now reformed the Squadron Supreme, and also put Sunspot in the position to become Scientist Supreme of AIM and create his own Avengers team, which currently has a book.
So yes, they're meaningless in that all those things happened over a year ago in-universe and are no longer important to the current status quo. They're not meaningless in that they caused events that led to the current status quo.

The X-Men were having to kiss Black Bolt's ass to get him to let them have access to Inhuman science stuff regarding the Terrigin Mist. One of the biggest things, turd wise, was that Black Bolt was forcing the X-Men to cover up the fact that Black Bolt released the terrigin mist for the lulz and was willing to let mutantkind die unless the X-Men agreed to make sure no one ever found out that he was the one responsible for the deaths.
Scott lies to Quentin, who's new waifu dies from mutant pox, about why his waifu is dying.
Rogue finds out (presumably when she catches mutant pox) and threatens to go public, because she is pissed the fuck off that Black Bolt is not going to pay for his crime/forcing the X-Men to help cover it up, in exchange for the Inhumans lifting a finger to help them.
Rogue tells Scott off when he lies to Quentin, threatens to go public.
Scott, properly shamed, decides to go public first to save Rogue from being made a target for retaliation/preserve her good standing with the public via her now being an Avenger.
Quentin goes apeshit, along with Pixie and a lot of the last three-four waves of new X-Men characters who realize the X-Men lied to them.
Quentin, Pixie, and co go evil and using his Hellfire Club resources, carry out an Inhuman massacre that kills a lot of Inhumans, including kids.
Beast is pissed off because now Black Bolt is all "you can fucking die for all I care" and won't help them, meaning Beast (having already made himself Black Bolt's bitch) now has to grovel at Medusa's feet to salvage the deal Scott FUBARed.
The rest of the X-Men are pissed because after Scott drops the dime on the Inhumans, Teen Jean tries to "fix" Scott like she fixed both Icemen & Angel; she tries to mind rape him into submission; it backfires on her, due to Scott having the Void in his head and she gets her comeuppence via being on the receiving end of mind rape as well.

Given what we saw in Avengers #0, I wonder if the chain of events are:
Scott lies to Quentin as part of the cover-up
Rogue threatens to go public over the cover-up when the girlfriend dies/she gets infected
Rogue falls into a near fatal coma before she can go public (see Avengers #0)
Scott goes public instead of Rogue, because she's dying and if she's dead, no one will have the balls to stand up to Black Bolt or as honoring Rogue's last wish.
Which offers a neat possible twist: that Cap is helping Scott hide as far as faking his death and aiding Scott/Magneto, because fuck the Illuminati and Black Bolt trying to cover up their crimes
It would also put a new spin onto Rogue's actions at the press conference in Uncanny Avengers #1 and why she hates the Inhumans. Having to deal with Black Bolt forcing the X-Men to grovel like slaves and hide the truth probably has her very much bitter and full of rage, especially having to deal with Medusa in the press trying to make the Inhumans look good when she knows the Inhumans are bastards

I can see Hellion and Surge going evil. Hellion has been pissed since he lost his hands. In the end everyone ignored him because it was to keep hope safe, but Hope's work has been undone.
