Piper was gay before the reboot already, there was a whole mini related to this around the Final Crisis time, so nothing new. Didn't seem very forced considering a lot of Rogues were blank slates for a long while (hell, Scudder still is) anyway, this way he's actually more consistent than most of the others.

The perfect option would be a JL subplot with Cold trying to get someone to help him find Mick in Gotham but the book already feels a bit too messy and crowded so as much as I like how Johns writes Rogues I guess it's all for te better nothing like this is going to happen.

I really dislike most of the plotlines in New 52 Flash, but most Rogue redesigns are top notch, especially Mark and Lisa (but then Lisa never had much of a proper costume to begin with). Angry bald man Heatwave sucks though, and the teased outfit for Wally is an abomination.
