It was set during his adventures in the 60s fighting Dr. Evil.A running gag was for something bad to almost happen to John Lennon every episode. There was a show in the 80's that I barely remember. Can't even remember the name. What I do remember is that it took place in the future, and was about a group of high school teens. I think the premise is that they were taking part in a tour of some factory or something, and all of them ended up falling into some kind of pink ooze that transformed them. The only one whose powers I can remember is the jock who gained the ability to shoot his head off like a rocket. I think they also had a monkey or something that also got changed.

Yeah it holds up. It's weird how effective taking the formula from Quinn Martin crime dramas and dropping it into middle school turned out to be. It's about as out there as TaleSpin which was also way better than its origins would suggest.
The showrunner/head writer has been holding it down on Walking Dead for the past few seasons. Maybe it'll turn into a stealth Fillmore reboot.
There was this show called "Maximum Payne" or somthing, one of the villains was in a constant state of pain because of his skin or somthing and everyone had these gimmicky vehicles. And for the life of me I can't find one single detail about it because of the videogame taking up all the search results.
There was also this other show about a demonic resort/ theme park that this family moved to that never finished its first season because the production company got closed down because of corruption or somthing. I can't find info on either of these things.
