Apparently X-Men: Apocalypse is gonna be HUGE. Singer has always avoided the standard capeshit elements and he really hates the formulaic capeshit city fight so he's getting really literal with Apocalypse. It's been described as a "disaster movie" so prepare for shit to get fucked up. That's also why they pretty much have had no real footage to show yet.
This isn't a pussied up watered down villain like Phoenix in Ratner's X3, Singer's Apocalypse is a world ender so I think it's safe to assume they're gonna have to go cosmic next.

The idea of a Genosha movie that would be a decent X-Tinction Agenda adaptation would be great. Actually, even circumventing Hodge would be easy by using Stryker if they didn't want to waste time building up Hodge's connections to a character that may not be enduring in a film sense.
