I think it's been climbing at a fairly standard pace. It's Ryan's first ongoing ever, and you can really tell. The first issues have good ideas in place with poor execution (and a healthy bit of that is due to horrible art), but as he's found his footing he has made some pretty good strides.
It's a bit disappointing to see him off the book because I was hoping to follow his development as a writer through it, but Seeley is a great guy and his name is big enough now to draw some numbers to the title, which we all know DC needs as much of as they can.

I'm not hot on Seeley. He's done a lot of forgettable or even bad stuff and his Grayson scripted issues are far weaker than king's, while I still enjoy them his dialogue can get really clunky and he definitely tries too hard with the sexy/gay stuff. But Fereyra is a fucking beast, I thought he was doing another Colder mini but it seems he's faster than I thought? Hope he colors it too.
I have never read anything exceptional from Abnett, his work with Lanning was far better too and even then they were a lot more hit and miss than people like to remember. Artist is nothing special either. After being teased with Johns and Reis this is disappointing.
Pak is the same, he fails to interest me but luckily this time it's Teen Titans, a franchise that's been shit for 30 years.
