Hello Storyteller.
Hangover gone?
>>77487035
i earned that hangover, dammit
>>77487062
mostly
it was not a fun one
>>77487087
So did anyone else check out Moore's AMA at Goodreads?
I can't believe he reads The Wicked + The Divine
https://www.goodreads.com/author/3961.Alan_Moore/questions
awww yeah
>>77487150
it's dangerously hipster but also magic, I can see why he does
>>77487169
Savant is always a qt3.14
>>77487068
Good to see you conscious OP.
>>77487198
Oh Madge, you'll see where your standards go...
>>77487068
>>77487087
Naked Justice was.... interesting.
>>77487218
tonight it's barely, probably short storytime
>>77487198
This page. Oh, Savant...
>>77487246
it was, ummm, pornier than I expected
>>77487284
say hello to Maxine
she's not cute like Cyclone
>>77487340
>>77487359
let's just say we'll all learn to hate Tao
>>77487359
Oh, yeah. Tao's kind of a big deal.
>>77487284
I' not really sure what I expected from a book called "Naked Justice", but that certainly was a thing.
>>77487340
Is Maxine gonna be not-Zealot, only she's a cyborg?
>>77487423
this is kind of skeezy
"do not feed"
>>77487423
>zombots
Anyone here play a game called Metal Arms: Glitch in the System? Zombiebots are THE fucking WORST.
>>77487438
Maxine is Ladytron
she's incredibly foul
>>77487438
Ladytron isn't much like Zealot aside from both of them having tits. And I'm not 100% sure she has any of her original set.
>>77487508
ahahaha
>>77487530
This nigga. Moore's making shit really fun really fast.
>>77487530
KEK
>>77487035
They got invincible powers
How the fuck can someone's powers be invincible
>>77487359
I'm starting to get the impression giving a violent lunatic sweet robo-parts was a bad idea.
>>77487568
Nice plates, Maxine.
>>77487603
she's wonderful
>>77487484
>this lab setup
SCP has utterly ruined me when it comes to secret paranormal organizations.
>>77487530
The fact that Tao is starting to come off like one of those shitty self insert articles they used to decommission back in the day isn't helping.
>>77487632
>>77487643
He's really, really annoying, but there's a method to the madness and a payoff, I promise
>>77487676
>>77487423
Tao is great, especially in Sleeper.
>>77487676
>>77487688
I like him, but I've read shit out of order and he's one of my favorite bitch-ass nigga kinda guys.
>>77487688
ho shit alan moore.
whats up
>>77487750
hey look it's the other team
>>77487632mfw overtkill actually shows up later on
It's the best thing ever.
>>77487568
>>77487632
This bitch is fucking nuts. I kinda like her already.
>>77487676
So he's like Vril, basically. Okay. Smug jackass who justifies being on the team through supreme competence. It's a classic archetype.
I just finished this run. It's basically the best dumb action book Moore has done.
>>77487150
great read.
>>77486982
yay OP you're alive!
recovering well after that hangover?
>>77487790
she's absolutely fucking insane
I squealed in delight when she showed up in the latest Grayson
>>77487825
my hangover suuuucked
but mai waifu is great
>>77487790
Actual spoilers:The WSU being the way it is, he gets involved in some other people's problems and has a footprint outside of Wildcats
>>77487843
like, you know how you can measure how much is left in a bottle by fingers?
I think I drank a hand
>>77487876
>>77487843
Delicious Zealot.
>that glowing whip
Not really being subtle on the whole Wonder Woman influence...
>>77487901
>>77487930
so yeah remember shit went down at the end of Robinson's run in that crossover
>>77487961
>>77487979
Lord Emp in heroic bathrobe
>>77487999
>>77487930
Fuck yeah, Maguire.
>>77488018
this is an Alan Moore comic
take bets on how utopian Khera's going to be
>>77488041
>>77487910
They don't really need to be subtle, Zealot's unique enough that they can reference Wondy without being accused off ripping her off.
>>77488056
shit, I want a language patch
>>77488077
goodness, someone's happy to see Zealot
>>77488092
the shenanigans begin
>>77487961
Two things:
1) The art is noticeably better. Not great, but much better.
2) Thinking back, I forgot just how relatively good the actual plot of the first WildCATS run was. There was a plan that was executed competently. That was a lot to ask from the early 90s.
>>77487999
>green hair and brown beard
God that's a terrible look.
>>77487930
the glued on face and robot jaw is SUPER unsettling.
>>77488056
>cocaine man tries to look less like he's on cocaine
>>77488141
COCAINE?
>>77487961
i don't remember shit tbqh
trust moore enough to be my guide tho
>>77488110
Yeah, WildCATS was some solid reading.
>>77488167
Voodoo's not going to have a fun time
>>77488183
>>77488183
I like how subtle it is. Anyone else would overplay that scene.
>>77488193
>>77488208
subtle, yes
>>77488110
Top Cow was pretty good at it, though it helps that Silvestri almost immediately realized he was not cut out to be a writer and sought out people like Garth Ennis and Ron Marz
>>77488227
>>77488211
>humans are class 5
>daemonites are class six
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>>77488193
>>77488238
>>77488167
>>77488250
oh my meta
would YOU a Majestic?
>>77488285yes
>>77488285
>>77488285implying a pure bred Kherubim warlord would do a dirty human
>>77488285
As long as Maguire is drawing, sure. He doesn't normally do the breakfast-in-bed thing,
>>77488247
And the Kherubim are seven right?
>>77488319
>>77488329
;____;
>>77488319
Is this some kind of mating ritual?
>>77488211
>>77488227
>locking people up behind sealed blast doors and a tiny cramped room
This is considered a "progressive" immigration policy on Khera. Better than killing them outright, I suppose.
>>77488343
>>77488340
I assume they're 1 and 6 is bad
>>77488355
>>77488364
1 is pure blood
2 is mixed race?
3 is titan?
>>77488364
I was hoping for a Pixies reference, oh well.
>>77488405
oh man, he's hitting where it hurts
>>77487150
> To the best of your knowledge, what monsters and/or gateways to dark and foreboding realms lie hidden within your beard?
> This would have to have been the large, live moth that eventually found its way out of my beard during a visit to Steve Moore’s house a few years ago. While I understand that this doesn’t give a favourable impression of my grooming regimen, I have no idea how or when it got itself into its unenviable situation, and for all I know it may have hatched and grown to maturity knowing no other world than a maze of impenetrable grey tangles.
>>77488424
>>77488476
>>77488476
oh shit
>>77488495
>>77488405
Are these squiggly lines supposed to imply that she's censoring her own swearing?
>>77488424
Damn. This guy really IS Vril.
>>77488509
>>77488476
I knew something was up when Madge went down that easy.
>>77488495
Nice troll, Tao, not bad at all.
>>77488541
hey owls, let's read some more tomorrow when I am more awake!
>>77488583
Thanks OP. Get some rest.
>>77488583
BYE OP! Liking this run tons.
>>77488583
Excited for moore!
thanks for posting!!
>>77488583
Thanks for posting as always, Storyteller.
It was nice to see the WildCATS and their surprisingly decent quality. Once again, there's an actual plot going on, and it's so refreshing to see from an early 90s book.
>>77488583
thanks OP
>>77488249
I CAN SEE YOU
Oh man I missed the thread because I was hanging out in the projects scrapped thread.
>>77487828
>I squealed in delight when she showed up in the latest Grayson
Did they ruin her?
>>77488646
By this point it was more like the mid 90s
When every comic was good
>>77489828
no, she's just as foul as ever, she made a joke about saving sex with a Kraftwerk amp
>>77489828
The opposite. Exactly as Ladytron as you'd expect in one and a half pages; Seeley drew Wildcats during the WS closeout, I think including the infamous Mindy/Zealot fight?
>>77489850
>>77490903
Did she flirt with Dick?
>>77489828
I don't think OP would have been delighted if it was terrible
>>77491148
That's not anywhere near the context of her appearance, though she might if they do meet. Go read the comic, jeeze.
>>77488355
These two were the best thing to come out of Wildcats.
>>77488250
rape time?
WildB.U.M.P.
>>77487676
What I hated most about Majestic is that his power levels were MORE fluid than Superman's.
