Again not really, speaking as someone who used to follow shoujo genre, the brooding loner archetype that Felix belongs to isn't abnormal to the shoujo genre. Especially with the addition that they had to his intended story (the bad luck, and needing Lady's kiss to free him from the ring). Why Marinette likes him is obviously because he's an attractive young man with a "cool" personality, in other words it's superficial.
It's actually more rare to have a "prince" character who is actually a dork. Mamoru/Tuxedo Kamen is actually rare in the sense.
