That said, TTG! doesn't actually respond to criticism. It simply creates strawman versions of what its critics allegedly want and does them intentionally badly, in the hopes that showing how bad the only alternative is would show everyone how good their show is.

I know there have been some shows that poke fun at the audience by breaking the 4th wall a little and making dumb, off hand jokes, but they've dedicated 3 fucking episodes to people who don't like their dumbass cartoon.

The problem is less that they are taking jab at critics and mroe that they miss the point.
lets Get Serious was "Ha ha , people who want this show to be serious are silly", return of Slade was "cartoons are for kids, stop being blinded by your nostalgia for the old show".
The problem is that we are not this show for being comedic and for kids. We are hating it for horrible, unfunny "comedy" and having unlikable assholes for the characters and being plain simply mean-spirited and having godaful messages.
The problem is this show cannot even mock it's critics right because it builds a strawman and beats it up instead.
