This is Tim Burton's interpretation of Superman from his aborted film project.
Just look at at.
Thank God this film was never made.

Edward Superhands.
Looks pretty cool.

Project SUPERMAN is the hero we deserve you ingrate
>opinions
I dunno, looking at that documentary, there were a lot of cool ideas. The concept art for it is great.
I'm still upset that Orion pictures went under before that Silver Surfer film was made. Could have been complete crap, but still interesting from a technical standpoint

Speaking of, what the fuck is behind this door from All Star Superman?

>oh shit I'm sorry
Tim Burton makes things for edgy kids
he looks pretty qt though, I don't mind it

It's an angel?!
Dunno, Death of Superman Lives convinced me it wasn't clear cut case.
>>77438194
that's just how burton draws, but if you look at the actual pre production suits and shit, it looked cool as fuck

>an ultra obscure character who showed up for a few panels in DC One Million
Whelp, that solves that. Of course Morrison would do something like that, because he is sexually aroused by well incorporated references to obscure comic books.
>>77440386
Morrison was in charge of DC One Million.
It's part of the mythos he's been building for years.
>>77440480
I still need to read One Million, especially the Hitman tie in.
>>77440556
It's fairly meta, especially for Hitman.
As I recall, Morrison didn't really have any plans for Hitman, so he just told Ennis to go nuts.
I still need to read most of the tie ins, especially the Supergirl issue.
What about all that jazz with Kevin Smith and Superman Lives?
That was weird.

The guy that made Wild Wild West almost made a Superman movie starring Nick Cage.
>>77440680
I still contend that Cage would be the best fucking Bizarro ever.

With John Travolta Superman
pumb
>>77440327
I think they were too ambitious, they had some cool ideas, but back then it wouldn't really be that good in execution.

Finally a place to post this! Great documentary by the way, this version of superman really clicked with me.

After watching that documentary, I really wish they had made the movie. Even if had been a complete departure/bomb, it looks like they had enough interesting ideas/concepts that, now that it's 10/15 years later, we'd be able to look back and enjoy it for what it is.
>>77443629
nice child bearing hips there
>>77438194
Looks like an interesting take on the character to me.

another technicolor dreamcoat
The only really good idea is the alien blanket, which they basically used for the N52
