Only the UK attacked Germany because Belgium was invaded, mainly becausethe UK had a treaty that promised to defend Belgium from invasion. All the other major powers where either siding with Germany (Austrio-Hungarian Empire), opposing Germany because it attacked them (France), or were neutral (USA)
