>>77418641
did you scan these in the 90s anon?
>>77418669
>>77418671
I didn't make these scans.

Been wonderin, how old is Tintin? He looks like a kid, but also could be an adult that looks like a kid. And he's independent, so I don't really know.
>>77419102
>>77419105
I think he's supposed to be fairly young in Land of the Soviets, around 14 or so. Though I've heard that he's somewhere in his early 20s a little after that. I should look this up again someday.

Just realized Haddock says "ARREST THAT NEGRO" in the top right panel. Golden.
>>77419234
>>77419242
And with that, Best character is now with us.
About the quality of the scans, I was initially unable to find other scans of the comics in english, though I'll do some research in order to find where >>77418643 got his high-quality scans from. I'm not a /co/ regular so I don't know if you guys have specific sites that you use to get comics or not. Either way, no promises on whether the next book will be in high quality or not.
Will be dumping The Shooting Star next thursday.
>>77419310
OP, I am >>77418643.
In some ways I must thank you. I've always heard much about Tintin, it wasn't until I stumbled in your thread that got me interested. But you posted too slow on a weekly basis, so I decided to read ahead by scouring the 'net. And I came across the high-res scans. However you kept posting lower-res version which is kind of disappointing, since I thought you would've found same the high-res version that I've found.
I'll give you a hint, cat spelled with a k. Mind you like I said in the previous 2 threads ago, it's only half of the books, not all of them.
Have fun.
>>77419617
I think I may or may not have found it, anon. It does not appear to be the exact same kind of scans like the one you posted, however there is less artifacting. Thank you.
>>77418978
this is my favorite page out of my favorite tintin book. captain is best.
>>77418629
Tintin must have serious head trauma after all these years.
Sweet
Haha! Time for Tintin!
Thanks for doing this every week, OP.
>>77424428
No problem, I'm very happy to know that there are people who enjoy it.
Made this just for fun.
>>77424678
Nicely done, anon.
>>77418643
Resolution is one thing, but those colours are TERRIBLE.
>>77418643
I like OPs scans a lot better.
They look like the books I had.
>>77424849
Thanks :^). Made a higher res of your picture, enjoy.
>>77425139
>>77425406
Blame the scanners then.
>>77425406
OP here, I found where he got his high res scans and I'm currently in the process of downloading them. I know not everyone will be happy with the colors of the high resolution scans, but there's just way too much artifacting in the scans that I'm currently using.
>>77425519
Nice, looks great. Wish you hadn't covered the first dot though.
>>77425519
Finally! Glad you found the one I have.
I can re-make it with the dot, if you give me a few minutes.
>>77425582
Whoops, replied to myself, but you know what I mean.
Anyways, here you go OP, with the dot preserved, :P.
>>77425853
Much obliged, anon.
>>77419059
Friendly merchant spotted in the last panel
>>77418878
I really like this panel, with Snowy's prints going all over the place.
>>77426284
Have the same panel in better quality. My download of the set just finished.
>>77418501
Reading bump. Thanks OP
>>77418524
What a dick.
>>77419168
>>77419182
Haddock barking his bizarre insults gets me every time. Thanks OP, I've read a fair share of Tintin, but never this particular issue.
Wonderful initiative OP.
Tell me, do you post these at a specific time every week or just whenever you feel like it?
>>77419234
The beater was originally black but Herge changed him to Arab.
>>77418501
Storytime Tintin in Switzerland next.
>>77419105
Hergé had a standing order with his secretary to tell kids who phoned or wrote to ask, that Tintin was whatever age they were, or if it was a year or two older, I forget which.

>>77429331
I do these every Thursday, around 5PM - 7PM EST.
How would you feel about an asterix dump?
>>77432670
I'd love some Asterix, honestly.
>>77432670
>>77433002
I second this
Anon would you be kind enough to either say where you got this comic or upload it for us as a whole? Thanks
>>77437542
Sorry anon, I'd love to, but you'll have to use Google. I don't want no trouble.
