That's literally half of every QC Storyline ever. It's like he takes a three act structure and cuts out the second part. Pro-tip, the second part is where the meat of the story is.

Holy shit, I didn't realize how bad the art has gotten. I quit reading it regularly a few years back, but at that point, the art was still decent. The backgrounds are just terrible, the drawings of the characters is clumsy as fuck, and the perspective in panel 3 is absolutely fucked.
