It's later than I had planned, but I'm posting Blazing Combat again.
Cool.
Pretty much the best war comic of all time.

What else could compete? I'm genuinely asking; I've read a fair amount of war comics (still not read any EC stuff, The Losers or The 'Nam) but the closest I can come up with is either Sgt Rock or maybe Enemy Ace...
I'm skipping the ads, because frankly they eat into the image limit, and kind of detract from the stories themselves a little. I'll post some when I'm done.

Charley's War
Harvey Kurtzman's works
Jacques Tardi's works

I forgot about Charley's War... which is weird, given that I started a torrent of it earlier today.
Skipping an ad.

Charley's War, The 'Nam early on, Adventures in the Rifle Brigade, parts of Battlefields, War Story, War Story 2. Possibly some other stuff.
This is great stuff.
That's it for Blazing Combat... until Flag Day...
... Stubby Kaye would've been 97 today...
... June Whitfield is 90 today...
... John Guillermin, who made that crappy Sheena movie, would've been 90 too if he hadn't died more than a fortnight ago...
... Jim Boyd would've 82 today...
... Vincent Schiavelli would've been 67...
... Bill Moseley is 64 today...
... Roger Slifer would've been 61 today, if he hadn't died at the end of March this year...
For the record, I wanted to post Omega Men #3, but you know what torrents are like...
... Carlos Lacámara is 57...
... Lawrence Bayne is 55...
... as is Stanley Tucci...
... Demi Moore is 53...
... Calista Flockhart is 51...
... Lavell Crawford is 47...
... David DeLuise is 44...
... Adam Beach is 43...
... Roger C. Carmel died 29 years ago today...
... John Stanley died 22 years ago...
... Mary Kay Bergman died 16 years ago...http://www.helpguide.org/home-pages/suicide-prevention.htm
... Dayton Allen died 11 years ago...
... and Keith Andes died ten years ago.
Well, I'm done for today. I'll be back tomorrow, knock on wood, to give you some more Golden Age comics, as well as the usual stuff.
