Nazi Germany was pretty shit, but as long as you were white German passing, it was probably better to live under it than under the Soviet Union.
The main problem is the entire economy was a war economy. Once the winning streak slowed, the country began to collapse under its own militarism.
It was also a good example of a society that was able to uplift the general quality of life in terms of the basic necessities, but people didn't really have a whole lot of actual liberty as far as what they could say or do. Though admittedly, the proletariat/plebian masses often doesn't care about those sort of things.

The Jews were trying to corrupt and control Germany. They even "declared war" on Germany and tried to stop it's flourishing through embargo, sabotage and propaganda. If the Jews couldn't be in charge, everyone would suffer at their hand. Hitler paid state money to deport them to their homeland if they didn't like what he was doing.

It attempted to change Christianity from within by promoting a state approved form of Christianity, which recruited renegade Catholic and Luthern elements into but which was very much opposed to the mainstream and protested against by most Christian leaders in Germany at the time. Nazis didn't leave Christianity mostly intact because they liked Christianity as much as eliminating traditional German Christianity and forcefully replacing it with some Aryan-washed form of Christianity mixed with neo-paganism was not something they could actually get away with despite their ultimate intentions to do so.

It's actually quite socialist in its program. The problem is unlike other forms of socialism, it didn't allow itself to become infected by Marxism, which allowed it to better negotiate a balance between private enterprise and state run institutions. Nazi germany is closer to the vision many socialists had before Marx came along.

Most of which were heavily monitored by the state to ensure they didn't contain any anti-Nazi propaganda, Jew shit, or anything which would harmful to conservative moral sensibilities. Most of the movies that came out of Germany during the Nazi period are romantic comedies, war dramas idealizing the Nazi fighters, anti-Jew/Allies propaganda docs and films idealizing the Prussian empire. There are absolutely no horror films for instance that came out of Nazi Germany unless you count The Eternal Jew and parts of that were even censored for children. While some films have been recognized for their overall quality, the period is noted for not being particularly creative due to the morality and thought police making sure no one questioned the government and also pretty much being the Nazi equivalent of social justice warrors and soccer moms put in charge of making everything PC.
