It's doing better than ever in terms of ratings, but I'm still sour about movie nights. I can easily see the cost benefit of marathons, but it's not as fun to me as a long time toonami fan. 2013's movie month felt like a special event, hell even pre-attack on titan toonami in general felt like it had way more heart in it, like they're sharing something special. That's kind of dumb of me to say since they run the block for free, but now it just feels like going through the motions. Even though we're getting new shows quick, picking up big titles and little ones alike, the block feels neutered. Maybe it's just me, but as soon as Dandy ended I stopped caring.
I feel like after Intruder 2 (which is the only reason I'm watching at the moment, and I'm actually pretty excited about it) it's going to be sink or swim in terms of me caring about the block anymore. The only things that could revive my interest in Toonami would be either another (good) simuldub, a new western premiere, or a complete surprise that I could have never imagined. From a logical standpoint, I'd say the slot will probably remain with FUNimation. Sentai and Aniplex are both spent for the time being in terms of dub premieres for their action shows and Viz is now in bed with Hulu. I would hope since Sentai and Aniplex were both able to get some potshots in at them over their choice to give Adult Swim a two year old dub FUNimation grabs something fresh. Terror in Resonance is now solicited for a January release, so I'd put a wager down on one of their other MAPPA shows, either GARO or Rage of Bahamut.
Of course there still is the chance they'll offer dubs collecting dust on the shelf because they can't be bothered. That's still a viable strategy for them, as much flack as they'll end up getting over it.

I do agree they need to step up after being shamed by Aniplex and Sentai this year, but I have a feeling Demarco won't agree to their ridiculous pricing anymore which may be why we got M&H this round.whatever it is starts the first week of January, maybe this means Funi actually will step up with something to start 2016 right

But you know, nothing FUNimation currently has is anywhere on the same scale as Attack on Titan. Tokyo Ghoul is the closest thing to it and Hulu squashed any potential for that the Broadcast Dub of Root A left behind.
Rage of Bahamut and GARO seem closer to a Deadman Wonderland to me. A show that had some hype as they aired, but it was Toonami that brought it into the spotlight in North America.

UBW's dub is just fucking bad. I don't know what happened, especially after Fate/Zero having a surprisingly good one.
Papenbrook as Shirou is just a dumb choice, and doesn't match the character, and I don't care if Mela Lee has been voicing her since 2006, she's terrible as Rin. She can't carry being the female lead.

Not a chance. Family guy does way too good at 11:30 as well as being responsible for why Toonami does as well as it does. And with no money and a general distaste for reruns I don't see any motivation to get 3:30, especially with how often the last 90 minutes struggles with ratings
