This wasn't a major issue until the zombie apocalypse happened. Everyone else had no problems fighting the zombies, but Carl was a liability. But his dad has One For All, a super strength Quirk that can be inherited by a chosen successor, and to protect his son in this crazy world he chooses to pass it on to Carl, since he was secretly injured by a zombie a while ago and his Quirk was the only thing keeping him from turning. After choosing a successor he slowly loses use of the Quirk and will eventually succumb to infection and turn. Will Carl master One For All in time to take out his zombie dad?
