I think the problem is that we got too many skilled animators. Back them most stuff was poorly animated, since the bar is low you don't need to be a good animator to make an internet animation, just have a good idea. Now there are plenty of pro and semi-pro animators, this hinders poor animators even if they have good ideas so even if we got more people now we actually have less people with good ideas making animations.

It's based on the indexing table, not some mechanical thing. Any program that knows how to interpret the raw data can access data stored before the indexed start. It's just that most don't know that it's a thing, so don't implement it. I'm sure it'd be easy enough to find a program that reads it, but finding a modern CD player that does would be much harder.

There is one flash that was during the golden age of newgrounds that I remember but is now lost in time.
It went like this: A little girl is crying at the park, a man walks up to her and asks whats wrong. She points to a father and daughter and tells the man that they stole her teddy bear. The father and daughter were at a teddy bear stand when the man attacked the father. The little girl watched from a distance and threw away her "missing" teddy bear. The man went up to the little girl with the teddy bear. The thankful little girl stood on her tippy toes to give the man a grateful kiss on the lips, which turned into a full makeout session.
Fade to black it now shows the man and the little girl in a small bedroom with clothes strewn on the floor, the bed messy and both of their naked bodies covered by a blanket.
