Did anyone watch that Speed Racer show made by the same people that did Kappa Mikey? It came out around the same time as the live action movie. I tried to watch it but I could never make past 2 minutes due to the art and animation looking like ass.

i actually browse /jp/ and have had some experience in rural parts of Japan. So about ~1/2 of the humor is really cringe. But for what it is I think it's comfy and fun enough for mindless background noise.
