Was a fan of the old cartoon. The new one has better animation but worse art, improves on the lore but keeps a really kiddy-level writing. I get it's for kids, but it's like they made it for stupid kids.
Music is worse. He-Man/Adam's new designs are better but more characters' is worse. Music is worse.
Overall, not as good in my opinion.
I really wanted to like it, though.

I watched it with my Dad when I was a little one. He was a fan of the original and he liked this one. I also enjoyed watching it, but thats nostalgia speaking. havn't seen it in forever. but from what I remembered, it was pretty cool, started getting really dark near the end. He-Man was stabbing mother fuckers left and right.

I liked it, it felt like a good compromise between the old one and being its own thing, while not perfect i think is better than the old series in a lot of aspect, then again i wasn't too atached to the original so nostalgia isn't a problem for me

Best Masters of the Universe cartoon, and one of the best High Fantasy series ever! The Filmation cartoon was an insult to He-Man.

The 2002 cartoon has better stories, better designs, better characters and it is far more serious. The Filmation cartoon was an abomination and really atrocious.
