God that show is so hideous to look at.
I think its aimed at people that are tired of adult animated sitcoms always having to push the boundaries and rely on shock humor, celebrity cameos, and mean-spiritedness.too bad it's just not that funny

I blame the Simpsons and Family Guy for starting the trend of having "adult" cartoons being edgy mean spirited nonsense or shitty sitcom humor with bad art. There is literally no "adult" cartoon to not do this.

The funny thing is Dan Vs. was considered a kids show by The Hub. And they delivered it in a way where Dan was not overly obnoxious and hateable. Too bad it has horrid animation and a ugly artstyle. It's still one of my favorite shows to this day.

It's comfy. I love this show, and it rest he's really well but yeah it's not super funny - they have a few great lines but at best it earns a chuckle. I love the family and the stories, it's just an enjoyable sitcom nothing more.
