Rick and Morty has the advantage of being very spare. There isn't a whole lot of it right now, so what there is still feels sharp and polished.
At least Archer made it to 3 season before turning to shit.
Rick is certainly the most interesting Chaotic Evil Protag i've seen, the few there actually are in shows.

I've never seen Archer be particularly popular on /co/. Seems like once there was a season finale or something that people talked about for a while, but other than that there are just very occasional threads.
I always got the impression it was more of a "I don't watch it, so it must be bad" kind of thing what with it being on a station /co/ rarely watches and the first few episodes being not particularly enticing.

I find Cheryl more annoying but on the most part I'm fine with her. My favourite character is Krieger but I HATED him in the season 6 finale. Except for the Adolf Hitler clone call back.
