Anzen no Mōdo (Safety Mode) is a state in which Marco modifies the exterior of his body to prevent damage. This is done in three different ways
1. Marco's body wildly contorts and shifts to avoid sources of incoming damage. Marco can shift his body into literally any shape he wishes, so long as his brain remains intact and his body retains the same mass.
2. Marco's skin becomes an absorbent, elastic compound that seamlessly redirects force from the site of impact back to it, effectively making him unable to be harmed by blunt force. The redirection of force results in a repulsive blow with strength equivalent to 20 times the amount of force initially applied.
3. Marco's exterior becomes a solid, nonelastic compound that absorbs all incoming forms of non-kinetic energy, such as heat or electricity. It also absorbs all chemical compounds other than water that come into contact with it. Marco is unable to move in this state: however, he may selectively apply this ability to specific body parts, giving him control over areas of the body not being used to absorb.

In emergency situations or on command, the being may fully manifest from any of the eyes in the form of a powerful tentacle armed with a fang-filled mouth towards the end. The Arm of the Beast is not able to absorb damage like Marco: however, Marco can redirect energy through it from his exterior, making it extremely useful for surprise attacks and quick defensive retaliation.

What are the most popular theories for Toffee's motivations? I've heard one where he's been around since the Mewman-Monster wars and wants revenge, but I also thought of one, although I'm almost 100% sure they'd never use it in the show. What if he didn't actually care about the wand, specifically, but he thought that the explosion that its destruction makes would be the only thing powerful enough to kill him? He showed that he can regenerate some pretty serious damage, so maybe he's been around for a REALLY long time and just wanted to end it.
