Here you can see the grandeur of Snyder's brilliance. You have a black man at the head of a company which would have jailed him in 1938. You have a woman as the star reporter who can subvert the patriarchal system. All the while the super "man" is relegated to sports columns and ither dredgery. He must experience the opression himself to better understand the world.

This of course combines with the existential crisis of modern journalism, as it wishes to have legitimacy in the day of perfidious blogs and childish treatises put out by new media. Such trash is for the lesser plebes in society. Newspapers are for those of us who strive higher.

Truly the highest quality Kino.

Not to mention that in '38 USA was in an economic crisis too, and Hollywood filmed movies that made the poor forget their sad condition. Therefore there was no time to be educated.

Bravo Snyder.
>>
First of all, Clark's story is an opinion piece and should be in the opinions section.

Second, Clark presumably already has a section of the paper he works in, he should be doing work related to that.

Third, Batman has been around forever in Gotham, so presumably the Planet has already had plenty of articles on the subject, it's probably old news at this point even if it's all new to Clark.

Finally, how the fuck does Clark have this job anyway? As far as we know he never went to university for journalism or writing or anything. He's a cub reporter without a degree, he should be be grateful that he has a job not arguing with the fucking editor.

>>

Much like comics, I don't think Snyder actually knows how a newsroom works. He just watched something with a newsroom in it and thinks that's enough

>"Clark you're on sports"

Like what? You're supposed to have specific people for that
>>
>>81549204
Maybe he said "spots"
>>
>>81549204
Can we be sure it's just Snyder who doesn't know how a newsroom works?
It could also be David S. Goyer. Chris Terrio and Ben Affleck also might not know this. At the very least, they overlooked these bits because they didn't have time to fix everything, and is evidence against their much-vaunted ability to fix the movie.
>>
>>81549204
I love how we're holding this against Snyder like ANY depiction of a newsroom in comics, let alone any form of media, has ever been fucking accurate.
>>
>>81549018
>how the fuck does Clark have this job anyway
Same way he got a job as a porter at a classified military project in the middle of nowhere despite being a hobo with no identity.

He always remembers everything thanks to super-memory.

Snyder is just director, why the fuck does no one, even on /tv/, know that a Director isn't in charge of story, casting, marketing, etc. They're there to shoot the storyboard and convey the emotions.

>>81548106
Clark, I'm sick of hearing about your action comics. We've all heard your actions filled comedic anecdotes.
>>
>>81553402
You're pretty naive if you think the director's only job is to be a glorified camera-man. If we want to assume he didn't try alter the script with his own shit (and we know for a fact that he did since he's the one with a fixation for Excalibur and religious imagery), Snyder still had to approve things at the very least. Or do you think the producers were there breathing on his shoulders to make sure he wouldn't suggest the actors or Terrio to make the characters say something less retarded?
>>
>>81553432
A movie and a show, to be exact, but yeah, you're not wrong.
>>
>>81551532
Did he know who they were at that point? He knew who Clark was by the end, but did he know who both were from the start?

>>

Russian word for "movie"
>>

True, but this was one of the worst. It wasn't just typically cheesy and bad, it was unusually terrible.
>>
>>81554161
A movie that is pure art
>>
>>81551342
But Clark isn't a reputed journalist. That's Lois Lane. All Clark is doing is covering the local football team for fucks sake.
>>
>>81553402
The director is the single man was has the most influence on the final product of the film other than, in some cases, the producer. It seems clear to me based on interviews and the film itself that Snyder is largely responsible for the shit-show that is Batman v Superman, moreso than the writers or producers.
