I don't want to see her be humiliated but she needs to be put in her place. We got into this whole "whoever holds the hammer of thor thing" cause Thor was a jerk some time ago and thought he could do whatever he wanted to do and Odin had to teach him a lesson.
Now Jane gets the hammer and feels she can do whatever she wants to do. But she doesn't really know anything, she doesn't make hard decisions. She's dying, she won't live with the consequences of say... deposing Odin who has ruled asgard for a million years and leaving asgard without an all father (freya isn't strong by asgard standards). She needs to be put in her place big time.
