Yeah bullshit guggerhack. Mericle and Guggenheim said the writers didn't want to kill off the character in question, but they felt they needed to pay off the storyline set up in the premiere. At the time of the premiere, the writers hadn't yet figured out who they were going to put in the grave.

I remember back in Season 2 where everyone was happy and enjoyed the show. I used to talk part in all of the live talkback threads and remember the HYPE TRAINChoo Choo CHOOOOOOOOSEand discussions about different heroes and villains introduced in the Arrow Universe.
Now we've got Arrow which is relationship drama where a good amount of teh fanbase and media hate what it's become, and Flash which is better in every single way. What a shame.

I really hope it's Oliver in the grave so that this show can move on to better storylines. Explanation of Oliver standing in front of the grave: Felicity created an Oliver andriod. He'll take Oliver Queen's tasks over for a while so that the transistion can be smooth for everyone involved. Felicity is so thoughtful. That just shows how amazing she is.

I actually had thought maybe Ollie was faking his death when Barry was the only one they had shown talking to him. But he has Felicity and a driver, so that's out.
Honestly, what they are going to do in this week's episode, they are probably going to put two characters in imminent danger throughout the episode. There is going to be some bullshit argument or fight and it will seem that both are seriously injured. Close to the end, Oliver is going to get a call or something to rush to the hospital, and without showing who is being worked on by the Trauma team, the time of death will be announced and the show will end. They are going on break after this week for like two weeks, so that will spark the discussion of who dies for the next episode. It will most likely be between Capt. Lance and Laurel, seeing the episode after this one is called 'Canary Cry'.

I'm not saying anyone does, but I don't think they're going to kill a main cast member or their pet Felicity, and the commercials have shown us Diggle's brother turning evil again and Diggle pointing a gun at him. It's an easy way to kill someone "close" to Team Arrow and force drama without the writers having to do any work.
