Let me give you a better picture of her personality:
Competitive, completionist, perfeccionist, insecure, stubborn, a little neurotic, a bit of a control-freak, hates to waste time, really hard for her to relax, with a chip on her shoulder, wants to be a top-tier surgeon making big bucks, at the same time wants to be a top-tier wife and a top-tier mother.
That translated in bed into wanting to be in control, while being bottom. Wanting to do "a full circuit" in an efficient ammount of time. Wanting to please more than to be pleased. Wanting to review what worked and what didn't, and use that to do better next time. Wanting to be complimented for her "hard work".
And obviously my favourite thing to do, was to mess with her plans. Take control away, please her non-stop, take as long as I wanted, try out stuff that was not on her "circuit", and so on.
She got kinda mad, but loved it all the way. It was always a fun tug-of-war between us in bed.

From what I've said you probably figured out that she was a serious-business, no-nonsense, no-fun-allowed sort of lady right?
In her eyes comicbooks and cartoons were immature, anime was stupid(except for a couple of them from her childhood), and videogames were a waste of time. Her big guilty pleasure were korean soup operas(I still don't understand the appeal).
ATLA was her big exception, she adored it. The music, the setting, the characters, the lore, the fight-choreography, the goofy-humor, the serious moments, and yes, even the shipping. She shipped Katara and Zuko. When we started dating she saw alot of herself in Katara, and she saw alot of me in Zuko, what with all of that thing where she saw herself as a "peasant girl" and me as a "prince".
Over time she revealed to me that she liked to write fanfiction about them in her sparetime. I read some of it and told her I liked it, and she took that as an indication to keep on writting. I actually thought it was pretty weird, but I didn't want to be a dick after she shared this very private thing with me.
So she created and alternate-universe in which Zuko won the battle of the North Pole in season1, captured Aang and Katara, was pardoned by his father and was welcomed back to the Fire Kingdom.
During her story Katara goes from being his prisoner to his confidant, his bodyguard, his liutenant, and yes his lover. Over-time Zuko brings out his true-nature and stages a coup, takes the throne away from his father, ends the war, and makes Katara his Fire Lady.The ammount of detail was FUCKING INSANE, and there were tons of sex-scenes that we had at out disposal to play out. It was sort of beautiful to watch this future-surgeon all giddy and excited, explaining to me the scene we would play out that night and giving me indications and tips and whatnot. It really meant alot to her, and I was happy to oblige.
We only tried out cosplay+convention once, not really her thing.

She was medschool so she was used to reading and doing research. She basically fleshed out the Fire Kingdom, its citizens, some of its history, its customs and traditions, you name it. Created new characters with their own motivations, made Zuko's "turn" on his father feel both believable and tragic, re-wrote Azula and her friend's purpose in the story. There was a lot of effort in there.

Yeah, it was pretty adorable to hear her go on about what she had in store next for this character, or what the next conversation Zuko and his dad would be. She had that sort of glimmer in her eyes when she did.

She always wanted to reinforce that she wasn't with me because I my family was sort-of loaded, but because she trully did love me. As a result she always would try to be the one to pay for stuff. Pizza, a cab, gas for our car, groceries, drinks, movie-tickets. you name she wanted to pay for it. Lo and behold she did. About a year and a half later, right as the semester was ending, she announced that we were going on vacation, paid entirely by her.
It was to a place called Santa Marta, in south america. Belonged to one of those kind of cheap hotel-chains that include everything(food, drinks, whatever). Beach, sun and pool. Eight nights, seven days. She was beyond happiness during that entire trip, it was also the first time she had left the country so it was extra-special. That first night she ripped me out of my clothes and fucked the shit out of me. Almost all night long, would bust a nut, take a break, grab something from the minibr and keep going. All over the room, on the floor, in the shower, in the tiny balcony. By the end of it the room looked like a warzone.
