Garnet is like seven gems fused together and also a robot.

Pearl and Amethyst forced into gems
Garnet if forcefully defused, so Steven has to help Sapphire get back to Ruby.
After she refuses into Garnet, she fights Jasper and keeps her distracted while Steven sabotages the ship.
After somehow defeating Jasper, Garnet is so exhausted from the fight she goes into stasis in her gem.
Steven collects all the gems and bubbles up to survive the ship crashing.
Episode ends with Steven holding the CG in his hands as he sits in the wreckage around him.
