Rebirth isn't an event. It's just a creative team shuffle and rebranding while the company accepts they've lost the floppy market and move focus over to trades.

That's not really true. He was taken from the Pre-52 Gotham, the same one that was inhabited by a Wally with children.
Jurgens just wrote him closer to how he wrote him before, but continuity-wise, he went through everything from before Flashpoint.
What angers me about this is the fact that now we have all of Nu52 Supes' supporting cast running around but an older Supes as the real one.
We have 2 Lois Lanes now and 1 without her Superman? Something leads me to believe some writer will try to do something with Nu52 Lois that'll end up with me hating her even more than I do now.

Lol, okay. All-Star Superman may very well be the greatest Superman story of all time but Morrison's New 52 run was mediocre at best and Pak's Action run is INSANELY overrated.
With the exceptions of the Geoff Johns Superman run and Unchained, literally nothing of New 52 Superman is worth reading.
