I've got this sudden recurring-esque dream this year out of bumfuck nowhere that basically, at the start of the year, I made an appointment (in a dream) for a piano lesson at a really high end place, and only took one awkward lesson - only really I just spent forever in the waiting room trying not to make eye contact with the secretary and woke up before I was called in. And now throughout the year I keep having dreams that I have another appointment to get to and that I've forgotten to go all year and I don't want to go because it will be awkward on it's own let alone given the fact that I've missed every lesson since and will have to explain myself.
I haven't played piano in 5 years, goddamnit, and I haven't taken lessons in like 10. Why is this happening to me?
I guess it's just a new brand of weird anxiety dream. I also occasionally get "I have to go back to high school, the past 5 years have just been a holiday and oh god I forgot where my locker is and I didn't study for the exams which just happen to be the first day back," and "I'm actually still at uni, yada yada same deal," dreams. But they're less frequent than this piano thing and at least sort of make sense because I actually went to those places for a long time.
Maybe I should just start playing the goddamn piano again and see if that appeases my stupid subconscious.
