It's been almost a full day since we've had a Grim Adventures thread, lets fix that.
Mandy was dull. I'll never understand this childish infatuation with emotionless evil. It's trite. The episode where she fell in love, but hated the feeling so much that she came up with a convoluted plan to get rid of the feeling was absurd. Am I supposed to be impressed by her being emotionless? Is it supposed to make her more frightening? It doesn't. It makes her look like a chump.
Heloise is the character done right. Evil, but embracing her emotions and passions. Heloise didn't need the goddamn Grim Reaper to help her.
Early Billy and Mandy was best Billy and Mandy.

She's bitter most of the time. And the reason I liked her was because I always felt like she was justified in her bitterness, she's gotta deal with Billy's bullshit all day.
I guess what I'm saying is; as much as I love this show, It did get a little annoying at times, and whenever I felt annoyed by say Billy's antics, there was always someone there for me to relate to.
It's kind of an ingenious formula if you think about it, have on character who walks the line between funny and annoying, and another who always looks like she's annoyed. that way if Billy succeeds in being funny; the audience laughs. But if Billy just comes of as annoying; then the audience has someone to relate to.
That's probably why so many people find UG so annoying. That show is basically what B&M would have been without Mandy. UG kind of looks like Billy too come to think of it
