Garbage. Acting was shit, forced lesbian drama (Carrie Anne Moss' character was a straight white man in the comic) JJ was horribly, HORRIBLY miscast, and Tenant just acted circles around everyone the entire time. It felt more like a platform for political grandstanding than something like Daredevil, which was just a darker street level superhero show.
Oh and of course, let's not forget.

Adaptations can make bad characters good, see Mr. Freeze. Tennant is just as shit as the comics Purple man.

I felt that for Purple Man powerset and Jessica Jones kinda show it was apt. I mean she is a B Tier hero so a B Tier villain portrayed on that level was suitable

I'm not a hardcore Who fan, but Tenant's Purple Guy is nothing like his Doctor.
The Doctor occasionally has grim'n'gritty moments to show us how sad he is about blowing up all of the Daleks. Kilgrave has some parents drama but is otherwise rape-happy Satan.
Tenant did a good job, but he was pure stunt casting.
