I suspect that the "silver eyes" thing is a red herring, and that it really is just nothing more than a rare eye color that Ruby and her mom had. She probably got the maiden powers from Summer when she died (since it's pretty reasonable to guess that Summer's last thoughts would've been of her daughter) and Qrow was just spinning the silver eye tale as a way to tell Ruby she has the potential to be a powerful warrior (holding back the actual fact that she has maiden powers, since they try to keep the maidens safe through secrecy and she's probably too immature to not blab about it to someone if she knew that she and her mother were maidens)

To all the anons who are pointing out that her heart was pierced by an arrow: It's safe to say what Cinder used wasn't an arrow in any normal sense. A regular physical projectile that was strong enough to bury deep into her torso would have knocked her flat on her back, especially at that range. There's also the obvious fact that unlike the first shot, which landed in her heel and simply wounded her, the second shot caused her to magically disintegrate.
With that said I think it's irrelevant whether or not her heart was actually wounded, since I think she's simply become disincorporated and will be resurrected at a later time.

I know it's kinda the whole point, but I'm really annoyed at Pyrrha going after Cinder. She obviously knew the danger, she was even told by Ozpin that she'd only get in the way. Then, for some reason, she believes she can beat the woman who just beat the headmaster, the same one who said Pyrrha stood no chance.

When Penny died I thought they were just giving her the "Superman" treatment (as in, high durability heroes like Superman are the only ones who regularly suffer attacks that would be lethal to regular people since they can take it) since she's a robot and could potentially be rebuilt.

You know, I think the biggest itch that I have about this whole finale and the lead-up to it isn't even Pyrrha's death. It's how they clearly didn't know what to do with Roman and just offed him like a punk.
At least Penny and Pyrrha's exits had impact to them, Roman's was just forced as shit, even with the knowledge of how Grimm function.

You can't make a show worrying about what-if's if you want a decent story. If you just resolve things at the end of every season it would get old as hell and there'd be no dramatic tension. I know M&K aren't the best but leaving so much unresolved at this spot was good, in my opinion.
