So what was the point of Smasher and Cannonball having a baby that had powers? It seemed like it was supposed to be a key plot, but it ended up ignored. Not to mention, Pod took the baby in her suit, and we can see it not being addressed in New Avengers.

It's kinda insulting that this whole run just ended up being a "Dr. Doom is God" story. I mean 3 years worth of story, and in the end, Dr. Doom just comes out of nowhere and overtakes the plot. And the sad thing was that I was expecting something a lot bigger. But instead it just came out so small.
Hickman wanted to try his hand at romance, failed miserably.
This guy. Hal steals his ring after supposedly killing him then is shown to be a ploy by Malvolio to get him to take it but it never went anywhere. I remember people thinking that Parallax was the gameplan for him when Emerald Twilight happened.

Garbageman and Tanga were both supposed to become recurring characters in DC but again flashpoint happened.
At least both of their stories got to be finished in the My Greatest Adventure mini right after flashpoint
Garbageman ultimately got shafted due to Swamp Thing being brought back and Tanga was shafted due to the original plan being he having run ins with the OmegaMen, Lobo, REBELS, etc.
