The cartoon takes a fun twist when you look at it from the perspective of the sisters, to them Lincoln is just and weird and crazy as everybody else, he's a perfectionist, a control freak. In Overnight Success and other episodes, he doesn't get retribution. Hell, he got a great sleepover with Clyde and his sisters and was quite happy with how it turned out.
Now The Green House is really the one that I remember Lincoln ended up in a much worse place, but that one just ran him into the ground based on the demands of his class and his need to cater to his friends.
