In October the company will publish Midnighter & Apollo, the first part of a six-issue mini-series that reunites the two heroes, who are gay and have an on-again off-again relationship.
“They have a firmer idea of who they are, and they’ve become stronger and more confident together,” said Steve Orlando, who will write the comic, which will have interior art by Fernando Blanco and covers by the artist known as ACO.

Wizard was not that bad to be honest. It had a lot of stupid stuff but it could occasionally give you an interview or a feature that told you something you didn't already know.
And then you had the Comics Journal type of thing where they openly hated the Big Two but tried to tell you other stuff you should read instead.
The current model is a weird combination of boosterism and rage, where sites spend most of their time plugging the big corporate comics (because that's what gets the clicks) and attacking big corporate comics for irrelevant or political reasons (because that's also what gets clicks).
The sad thing is Bleeding Cool may be the best comics site out there and 90% of its content is terrible. But it will occasionally tell you something you couldn't find from a press release.

Heroic Age was a crappy idea for a rebrand title anyway. It made the new comics sound old (people talk about "ages" in the past tense) and it sounded like they wanted to be congratulated for having heroes act like heroes.
"Dark Reign" at least sounds cool. Even "Marvel NOW!," which is idiotic, at least tells you it's happening now.
