I'm in two minds. I don't actually think a total rewrite of Hellcat is that bad an idea because her character has always been a little fucked up in comparison to her experiences, and there's something inherently goofy about mystic witch who lived in hell + pop-out claws and a two-tone cat costume.
I just really don't want Leth to be the one to do it, because I find very little of what Leth writes appealing. Couldn't the artist just write it? I do actually quite like her style.

It's more that I just don't find Kate Leth interesting as a writer than I'm frightened of her not doing research, for me personally. I don't even dislike her I just don't get engaged by anything she writes.
The Moondragon stuff isn't jarring to me and neither is the transformation, that's already part of the character. And those are two sort of interesting but obscure things to seize on and maybe expandlike how nobody remembers Lolth has a giant spider mecha in D&D.

The preview already acknowledges a bunch of stuff even people in this thread apperently didn't know about, like Moon Dragon having taught her martial arts, being able to summon her suit, and her exes.
This is a pet peeve of mine but I'm really sick of word balloons and onomatopoeia not being drawn as a part of a composition anymore, it looks horrible when it's just pasted on
