Sup /co/,

Just finished watching this and was a big fan of it. What did y'all think?
>>
It was just decent to me. The characters weren't really interesting and it wasn't as funny as Wreck-it Ralph.

Thread title made me think Zone announced a BH6 flash or something.

Yeah, the GoGo Flash is old.

Decent, didn't live up to its potential though.
They could have toned down the superhero flair and focus more on the side characters supporting Hiro. The impact from the grieving part seem a lot less since it looks like as if he's the only one sad about his brother's passing.
On that note, the ending kind of killed it for me. Too upbeat. If they ended with Hiro finally starting his own life by going to college and place the Baymax return scene after the credits it would have been based. At least the viewers would get some time to grief for Baymax.

Wasted potential.

They should have just stick to the original comic and really celebrated Japan

I think the big feels scene with baymax was dull and unimpactful

I didn't watched the movie but looking at the comics and some of the movie images you can see there isn't much in common, but probably still is better than any MCU or capeshit movie of the last years.

oh the comic and movie are practically separate things on their own, theres not much they kept true to the original, in some ways its a good call because some of the things in there are stupid

still upset about the needless race swaps and location change though

Overrated, bizarrely-paced, exposition-y dialogue, archetype characters.

For me, the only decent thing about the film was Baymax's dialogue and his relationship to Hiro.

Everything else I found either bland or under par.

Only good thing out of it was the Hiro porn it created.

I liked it, I kinda thought the villain was somewhat clear to see but then they brought forward of the villain origin story and that his brother was just a scapegoat for him to go darkside for a little bit. I actually kinda wanted his brother to be alive somewhere. I thought the plot twist at the end was really really badly handled and the fact that there's a gravitational pull on the portal thing left me asking questions of exactly how they were able to get out when clearly things would still be being pulled in.

All in all I liked it, just could have been more fine-tuned.

H Y P E for TV series.

The climax inside the pocket dimension didn't play out logically and was genuinely forced drama, but it was an excellent movie nonetheless.

Actually, I was rather bored. Found the plot very predictable and mostly the girls were eye candy. Gogo was a bit annoying to be honest.

The intro looking down over the city with that great music in the background was impressive. After that... meh it was okay, I wouldn't dis it.

What are those floating turbine-looking things anyways? Looked like something out of Blade Runner, to me anyways.

Killmode Baymax was a good monster.
