Lets discuss this grand event

That a hardcover minibus ya got there, Manuel?
It's really bronze age dense but it works I think. I guess if we want to be picky one flaw is that Supergirl's death is ultimately pointless, though I did like it on its own. And of course with hindsight we know she would have been retconned out after the fact anyway once they decided to have Superman be the only Kryptonian.

They released an English deluxe version this year for the anniversary if you want one.
This will forever remain my favorite moment from this event. It was just badass seeing all of DC's magic users united during this event.
why do you all hate steven universe so much? it's a great show, probably the best cartoon out in ages. The way you all try to hate it so much just proves that it is a great show
I can sum up the show easily.
Crying Lesbian Space Rocks: Starring Joel from MST3K.
>>82589086
By that Logic Johnny Test was a masterpiece
>>82589086
>It's popular
>It's popular on tumblr
that's really it.
Have any of you guys found out any good info on it?

Oh my fucking god. This autism needs to stop.
>>82588617
that blind site ever reveal anything?
No. There is no statue, the scene at the end was just put there to make it look surreal. I've never seen this level of obsessive autism.
So we all agree that she's the only blemish on an otherwise good season, right?
>there's going to be a "I know you're in there, Elektra" fight episode in Season 3
>>82588547
"Oh Maffew, remember when we used to kick it old school?"
>>82588547
>only blemish
she was like a disease that infected season 2, I'd say she was just a blemish if she didn't take over the plot but the latter half of the season was basically all about her
I really liked Elektra as a character but everything else about the Hand was so underwhelming.
Is he right about Superman? What are some of the most heart-warming examples where Supes uses his mind to deal with a problem?
>>82588046
i hadn't thought about it, but he probably does take his knickers off doesn't he? they'd show under the tights otherwise.
also, tom, i love you man, but the character's name is not doctor who. you are one of like two people to regularly do that.
He has to outthink Myxyplyx every time.
I like comics and I think Doctor Who is a bit cringe worthy. But I'd still pick Doctor Who over capeshit any day of the week.
Now hear me out, /co/. I just discovered something.
>Steven Universe
Right
>There's a character named Pearl.
Keeping up with me?
>The man who likes Pearl is Mayor Dewey.
Stay with me here.
>Mayor Dewey is voiced by Joel Hodgeson
Right?
>Joel Hodgeson played Joel Robinson on cult TV classic, MST3K
Try to keep up.
>Joel Robinson was shot into space by Dr. Ernhart and...

>>82587772
That's Chat, she's from Marvel Adventures Spider-Man
>>82588394
And she's Best Girl for Best Peter.
Ultimate Comics Ultimates would have been a good comic if it had got to this point and then the city/children were like
"lol are you fucking kidding me, sell out our creator because a *** degenerate's talking tumor said self defense is wrong? Did you miss the part where we're geniuses and not retards?" and then stomped tony to death
Although desu the fact that they listen to Tony and then get completely wiped out, totally offscreen, is also pretty good.
Did anyone ever ask Hickman how he originally planned the ending for this arc?
>>82587346
>get completely wiped out, totally offscreen, is also pretty good
How is that good? What exactly even happened to them
>>82587630
Given that it's Hickman, Doom would have probably saved everyone.
Other than several episodes of The Simpsons, I've never watched cartoons. I feel like I'm missing out, so what should I watch to start exploring this part of pop culture?
If it helps, my favourite tv shows are Oz, Deadwood, and Mad Men.
Watch Steven Universe, it's so bad you'll never want to watch a cartoon again. Think of all the extra time you'll have!
>>82587216
Dont listen to the anon above me. Steven is great if you like mainly female casts with good music and hot lesbian undertones
Its not even an undertone. One character blatantly asks another to fuck
>>82587216
Other than The Simpsons? I'll list some modern ones.
Regular Show
The Amazing World Of Gumball
Steven Universe
Uncle Grandpa
Adventure Time
Gravity Falls
Wander Over Yonder
Star Vs The Forces Of Evil
Rick and Morty
We Bare Bears
Bojack Horseman
You should like at least one out of that pile.
Why did Hermes stay with her?

Last thread a lone Anon enlightened me about how much of a sick guck the author is
Hey, /co/, tell me this - Who is your favorite catboi and why?
http://www.strawpoll.me/10164280Also, who did I forget?
What about Jap catboi?
>>82587059
Jap's catboi market is oversaturated with the same product, western catbois are more rare but also have much more variety
Plus, it is /co/ after all, so we should keep this /co/ related
>>82587002
Best SMBC I've read in a while. What are some of your favorites?
