Are you both 12? What the shit?
DC Rebirth Speculation thread
did they not have a fcbd thing?
I think they had a Suicide Squad reprint and a DC Superhero Girls thing. With the Rebirth special itself coming out in a few weeks they probably didn't want to spoil it.

Don't really know much about this. The New 52 is done?

No it's the same continuity, just a jump on point. They are fixing some things though like having Ted and Jaime actually connected in-universe.
Anyone pissed that when DC brought the Question into the DC Universe, they jetisoned his entire supporting cast? I mean, the Starr family at the very least should have stayed in the picture since they were perfect fodder for a DC Universe for the inner city politics of the O'Neil run.
Syd would have been a perfect villain for the series: basically scheming to overthrow his dad, get Vic fired and blacklisted, and generally being a scummy SJW type shitlord making life hell for the people of Hub City under the guise of "promoting" equality.
Similarly,...

O'Neil could have kept them around, but it would have not worked with the tone of the series O'Neil wanted. O'Neil never really gave a fuck about Vic being a reporter; IIRC he rarely was seen at the news station to begin with.
I always headcanon that Sam and Syd died during the villain take-over of Earth 4/Hub City in Crisis #9-10 and that carried over into the Post-Crisis world, in that in the post-Crisis world, whichever villain offed the Starr family still did the deed.
Celia...

Few people on /co/ have read O'Neill's run, much less Ditko's original.
Nah, O'Neil's Vic is so different from Ditko's that I'm fine with them just starting over. They're both worth reading, but I'd rather have good comics than ones strictly bound to everything that came before them
Those sick bastards, that is not how you bacon
Bastion in 3, 2, 1...
Why is Iori so perfect?
mmmmmmm, turtle bacon.
Dan Slott has died of being a fatso and for Doom knows what reason, Marvel has put YOU in charge of writing The Amazing-Spiderman.
What do you do?
Step down and get JMS, pre-Sins Past, to write instead.

Lose the big company. Slowly (within 10 months, if not issues, because marvel double and triple ships sometimes so fuck that noise) rebuild a proper supporting cast and not a group of yes-men employees or "SHIELD minders".
Then, suddenly, in the middle of something unrelated, Pete crosses paths with a demonic entity. The demon is all set to ruin Spidey's day (fat chance) but--
It can't do nuthin'. "The Deal" may no longer be Mephisto related, but there's some...

Does anyone remember the name of this one comic? It had incredibly dry non-humor with no punchlines or premise. People called it one of the most unfunny newspaper comics of all time. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? People theorized that it was like an alternate universe version of Garfield because of how non human it was
Found it, someone turned it into a cartoon series

No, this isn't it. It was definitely a newspaper comic
Is this Heathcliff?
Do you not know Heathcliff?
>The only thing you need to know about Bill is to stay away from him. Everything that man touches turns to...Bill.
>>82596646
It's strange. I fear Bill, yet I am not afraid.
Bill is only a problem because nobody is willing to put in the time to fix him up in the long run.
Bill needs better friends, but you just don't abandon your childhood friends after 30+ years.
>>82596857
The only one that can really fix Bill is Bill.
If someone came in and tried to fix him then you'll just end up with Bill becoming totally absorbed in that person and he'd try to become as much like them as possible. As seen in that weightlifter episode.
Bill needs to take an active roll in making his own life better. Some therapy to deal with his more deep set issues and inability to cope would also be a really good idea.
Favorite episode?
I'm currently rewatching season 5 and I think it has some great episodes despite it's length.

I love how his voice was permanently in loud, hammy mode. I love his design (outside of costume) as well.
Shame he didn't get more screen time.

The episode where Hank lives in New York to intern for Dr Impossible who is trying to hide the fact that he is forming a supervillain group while Rusty mooches off of Hank while he writes his musical was great.
Also that ending was priceless.

Hey /b/, this summer is gonna be my first time going to any "con". I'm going to Florida Supercon, and I wanna cosplay as Cyclops from X-Men Apocalypse. Please help me find the right looking jacket, and for god sakes please help me find the glasses or give me tips on how to make them.
Btw, I meant /co/. I've been on /b/ all day, sorry.

Has a comic book character ever triggered a board so hard before?
The triggering that BvS does for /co/ is far greater
It's probably the absolute worse case scenario for DC fans.

Harley threads don't go over too well either
One or two.
So is the original PPG worth checking out? All this talk of the shitty new one has more interested and I remember liking the few episodes of the old one I saw when I was little(surprisingly my Mom didn't let me and my siblings watch it, but my Dad was cool with it) I've heard the last two seasons are bad though.

I don't remember what domino's was like in 1990, but I can tell you it's been great since 2008 when they publically apologized for how shitty it was in the recent years (which i am sadly VERY familiar with) and changed their formula.
