Can we get an Out of Placers discussion going?
I quite like this webcomic, even though it is being written just so the author can get off on his transformation fetish the comic itself is enjoyable I think, so far none of that has been too in-your-face.
Here's the latest page.
Any of you lot read this webcomic?
Seriously though, does nobody here read this?
It's actually a fairly interesting story about how things would be if a normal person in a fantasy setting got turned into a creature that is generally considered to be at the bottom of the social ladder. It's got some interesting world building and I don't think i've seen a creature like Yinglets before.
Is Superman's nature essentially human? or Super-God?
I know both perspective can be true. Silver Age Superman is benevolent Sun-god and clark is disguise. Post crisis Superman is disguise for Clark to do good.
But, if we must decide which nature is true, which is true nature of Superman?
Only human with Super Power? or benevolent Super-Sun-God with human-like personality?
What do you think which is true?
How did we go from THIS...
What are some things in cartoons that you absolutely hate?
Giz continues her struggle between her love of cheesecake and her love of ad revenue
They should do something about that bird size bee
Am I the only one who preferred FoxKids and Warner Brothers over Cartoonnetwork and Nickelodeon?
Academics liked it, /co/. Why don't you?
>Released on March 25, 2016, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice was a movie decades in the making. As the first live action film featuring both Batman and Superman it was a movie featuring two of the biggest pop culture icons in history.
>Though hotly anticipated, the film has met with questionable responses from critics, audiences, and the box office. Since these reactions have already been noted, I wanted...

In Civil War, why was he under the control of Russians? I thought he was the result of science and brainwashing by the Germans?
Hydra is transnational.
A Russian soldier is the one that found him when he fell from the train in TFA.
Somehow they linked up with Zola who was also on the train, and (as we learned from Agents of Shield) learned brainwashing techniques in prison which he used to condition Bucky when he got out.
What are your thoughts on the FOX-MARVEL Cinematic Universe?
The only salvageable franchise they got going for them is Deadpool - which has the potential to fill a niche as a parody series of the MCU.
R-rated Wolverine might be good.
Gambit was scraped wasn't it?
It's very existence is pathetic. A clear and desperate attempt to try and get some of that Disney money. At least Universals Monster Cinematic Universe is built on the old school cinematic universe based on theironsters from the 40s and 50s. Fox is just straight swagger jacking.
After tediously building back up their audience with First Class, The Wolverine, DOFP and Deadpool due to losing them with X3 and Origins, it sounds like Apocalypse is going to kill all that momentum again.
Pretty much guarantees that Deadpool will be shoehorned into everything from now on even more-so than if Apocalypse was good.
I'm fairly scared for the future of the Fox-men. They really need to make sure Wolverine and whatever is directly after that takes the blow of this movie and keeps on rolling or else we're in for some dark times again.
We haven't met yet.
I don't care
>tfw the few jokes they had in this movie made me laugh more than all the jokes in the previous Marvel movies AND Deadpool combined
Not even lying. Not only was the humor more subtle in this movie but they weren't firing quips and jokes and one-liners at you every 3 seconds like all the other movies so you actually start to appreciate the spare uses of comedy.
If she hated the mayor, why didn't she just shoot him with a dart?
That's too suspicious for one person to go feral out of the blue, especially someone that famous. It would've made people investigate more closely
Especially considering she had an obvious motive.
When will it be kill?
Does anyone else here think that implementing actual fighting styles into the fight scenes would make the fight scenes more interesting to some degree? Like, Garnet doing Muay Thai or kickboxing? Pearl could be an expert in all kinds of fighting styles, especially very graceful ones.
Also, if you've got nothing better to do, there's always "Who would win?" to talk about.
Opal vs. Jasper, Opal fucking curbstomps the cheeto puff.
Sure do OP, the show would benefit from better choreographed action scenes in general. They should take a page from ATLA.
inb4 no one really cares about the topic of this thread and turns it into a cancer general, though.
It worked for Avatar. The gems do seem to have a certain style while fighting (Pearl has a more elegant and light feet like style e.g.) But non of them seem to have a fighting style that truly resonates with a certain fighting art. I do think it's too late to introduce something like that now though
