>Character learns a useful new power they never thought they could have
>Maybe a training montage or metamorphosis beforehand
>The ability keeps showing up thereafter
>character has a crush on someone
>gets so close to becoming a thing, but in the end somehow fails.
>the movie/one-shot is actually canon
>stationary camera shot on a fast-moving vehicle with areas of deep shadow rapidly appearing/disappearing, i.e. a train entering several small tunnels or passing under large bridges in rapid succession
>character appears in a flash from within the shadows, despite not being there mere seconds ago

Remember that time that Superman beat the crap out of an eight year old for no reason whatsoever?
>>82774946
Superman was being really paranoid and Billy was trying to stop him.
What was worse is when Superman gagged him and took him into the room that he thought had a bomb that could wipe out a city.
>>82774946
Billy dindu nuffin
>>82774993
>Superman was being really paranoid
Superman was being straight up retarded.
I liked this episode and all, but the writers made Superman into a complete idiot for the sake of it.
Billy tried to reason with Supes and he just punched him in the face.
When I think about it, is MLaaTR the first thing to do "robot with a million moving pieces that transforms"? Because the only other things I can think of that are like that is Michael Bay Transformers and MCU Iron Man.
>>82774823
cartoons have been doing 'robot parts that make no fucking sense and are pretty much just 2d paper cutout art but fuck you it's dumb shit for kids' forever. like i can't even think of the oldest one. pinky and the brain had a robotic bill gates that just sprouted armor and became 9 feet tall
that's not really the same thing as the bayformers carefully working out every possible part of a machine and making them shift around in a way that looks fucking plausible and still makes something...

You robofags are so stupid, Christ. No, a million other things have done it.
Jenny is not for sexual.
Can we have a thread for people who liked the movie to talk about it?
I loved it all, except some of the Doomsday fight witch was veering into generic territory. I likedSupes' deaththough. Especially what it said on his Grave/Monument.
I'm excited for Darkseid and I'm happy that Zack is still directing JL.

The opening scene when the waynes get killed was godtier.

Did you think this was clever when you hit post?

When Cap is at the airport and Tony's team confronts him, why does no-one listen to Cap saying how there's a doctor who was behind everything and has 5 more winter soldiers?
Tony said he had 12 hours to take in Cap, that could easily be enough time to look into what Cap says
Why did no-one listen to Steve? Not even Natasha listens
>>82773917
Because clearly Captain America is a liar and would make up a fictitious story to avoid being incarcerated.
just turn your brain off
>>82773917
Because the whole point of signing the accords was that they'd get UN oversight and direction. They weren't allowed to take independent action. At best they'd have to bring in Steve and his buddies and then ask Ross if they could follow his lead.
Remember the big stink was about the Avengers acting unilaterally in other countries. Before they'd be allowed to go check out anything in Russia they'd at the very least likely have to wait for Ross to present the situation to the UN diplomat...

TRUE OR BS?
Because men oh men, it doesn't excuse the shit animation of Fox animated comedies.
without any research at all, sure why not?
animation is expensive, plus the supporting team
aren't the Big Bang theory actors making a million each per episode?
>>82773581
>TRUE OR BS?
According to people I know in the biz, most of a show's budget goes to the salaries of the writers, producers, and voice actors.
Everyone else gets the peanuts.
It's usually about a fourth of that for regular animated shows, but Family Guy has so many special guests, licensed music, and other factors, that it wouldn't surprise me.
What is /co/'s actual opinon on Jared Letos now?
How was it after the first promo pic of him?
How was it after all the trailers?

I feel like he is the most sinister Joker yet. The kind that would wait till 5 minutes before curfew before heading back home.
He looks alright, and he sounds alright.
>Then one day, a lawman appeared.
Great origin story.

Whaddaya suppose his story would be in a remake?
You're welcome OP

Where would you rank it in MCU? Did you think it was better/worse than The Winter Soldier?
I think it will be the movie that will launch a thousand nerd arguments on not only what is the best Capt movie but also the best Avengers movie.
Spiderman is OP
Guy was a bullied kid a few mouths ago and then he's shown overpowering Captain America, Winter Solider, and the Falcon all of whom were militarily trained veterans.
>>82772289
Too soon to rank it for me.
>>82772724
This. It really was a backdoor Avengers. Kinda shows Whedon's flaws that CW was a better avengers movie that AoU.
did this traumatize him?
>>82771984
Yes.
>>82771984
He learned to stay true to himself, by watching himself die
>>82771984
Apparently not because he still solves all his problems like a fucking pussy and consistently wins with his pacifist strategy of let's be friends. Only time characters can actually use violence in this series is if he's asleep.
So I plan on watching episodes of this and all of Extreme Ghostbusters this summer to get the taste of that shitastic-looking new movie out of my mouth.
What are the best episodes?
It's been a while since I've re-watched this but from I remember you can skip everything that has "Slimer and the real ghostbusters" as the opening title.
With maybe one or two episodes I can't recall (Janine you've changed is the title of one of them...I think ).
Also Boogeyman and Samhain are must watches. That boogeyman voice still haunts my nightmares...
>>82772357
>you can skip everything that has "Slimer and the real ghostbusters" as the opening title.
Stop watching immediately when they switch to this intro.

Remember that episode when Jack decided to wear high heels and got bullied because of it?
Wow, he looks fucking great in those.
I honestly didn't understand why they were giving him shit over them. They look metal as fuck and he wears them well.
I remember when he wore sneakers. Was it the same episode?
I haven't watched the show in years, and I only ever watched it a few times. I'm planning on watching it all soon.
Why does Spidey make a "y" shape with his fingers to use his web shooters? It's more comfortable to make a full fist and feels less awkward.
How come his web shooters aren't always going off when he's punching people?
>>82771811
he can also depress the trigger with his ring and little finger while pointing his index and middle finger (like a gun) as well
when he balls his hand into a fist the trigger paddle bends a different way and doesn't trigger the web shooters
>>82771811
1) Style, He has it, you don't
2) He has to press hard to make them shoot, except the times when anyone can shoot them
the second question actually answers the first question
When is BoJack coming back /co/?
Holy hell is Bojack overrated. Apparently all you need is to hamfistedly throw in melodrama played straight to be a "groundbreaking" animated series. Everything in Bojack is so ponderous. So blunt. So totally lacking in nuance or subtly. Absolutely nothing is left to the viewer to figure for themselves. Every motivation and every inner-struggle is spelled out for the viewer in a trite long-winded monologue.
>>82771561
I'm still holding out hope for a summer release...the longer it goes on though the more I doubt it.
I've got this sinking feeling that this is going to the last season for Bojack, for better or worse
