I asked this when this book first started and I’ll ask it again: Why would Wanda, who has spent her entire life trying not to be a slave, who is the descendant of actual slaves, help someone make a slave? How do you miss the whole point of a character that badly? So much of her struggle is about trying to retain the right to her own body. How do you not notice that?
Or maybe Tom King really doesn’t understand how consent works and doesn’t get that making a wife isn’t the same thing as “finding” one. He doesn’t realize that this is all, y’know, rape.

>Making a wife is rape
People will respond to this seriously, you put some effort into it OP. Congrats, fortunately for you most dipshits on this board don't understand how to sage, so you'll get some good bumps. Not from me though, sage.

Ok fags, one of these threads.
Because why not.
Also, i know, all of these needs a fucking update.
Post rate charts if you like.
You have to kill all these books but one.
The remaining book is going to be the prototype for EVERY other Marvel book being published.
Which one, /co/?

How can you make Superman interesting?
>>82775603
Just portray him the way the Animated Series does. Maybe less jobbing too.
>>82775603
adapt the source material
Adapt silver age Metropolis and Superman faithfully, but at the same time write an actual creative totally new story, don't just try to be faithful to some multiverse or prevent existing story.
reminder that if Falcon didn't move out of the way, he would have been dead
considering how when Vision's beam scraped Rhodey's armor it melted it AND destroyed the reactor, we can assume that if it hit Sam's jetpack, it would have gone through it and then through Sam's head, and possibly Rhodey's reactor too
here's a pic showing how the beam went through his armor like a hot knife through butter
>>82775581
i don't get why when he saw the beam miss he didn't turn it off
>>82775695
my guess is that it's actually plasma and not a laser
it looks really similar to when Kylo Ren managed to stop the bolt of energy mid-air
also as I said, we saw it continue its path after hitting the target
The musical based on Don Bluth's Anastasia opened this week. Some thoughts on the show coming up.
The basic idea is the same: Anya is a young woman who doesn't know who she is, wants to find out who she is, and Dimitri and Vlad are working as con artists to find someone who can convince the dowager empress that she is Anastasia. They travel to Paris to find the dowager empress and are trailed by an antagonist.
The details are what is radically different.
It is much more historically based. Instead of Anastasia being knocked out when running away with her grandmother, the Romanov's fate is the same as history: the children and their parents were sent...

Songs are changed around. The songs from the film, with the exception of There's a Rumor in St. Petersburg and Paris Holds the Key to Your Heart, are in different spots in the story. Journey to the Past is the "I'm about to get to Paris and find my past" Act I bombastic closer. There is a new "I want" song in its place in the story. Once Upon a December takes place before Journey to the Past, just when they are going to leave St. Petersburg for Paris. There is a bunch of new music,...

Oh and Dimitri has a darker backstory: his fatherwas an anarchist who died in an imperial prison camp
Do you agree with Chaykin? I certainly do.
>>82775410
Well Chaykin is a penciller, not an artist so how would he know.
>>82775489
He writes and draws
>>82775529
So penciller and writer, but not an artist.
What things are associated with modern comics?
I think mostly of things like grimdark/max edginess, the faux-feminism movement, I don't know what else though. I'm not just talking about cape comics here either to be clear.

>grimdark/max edginess
